Storm Shutters

The original builders outfitted each unit with a set of aluminum storm panel shutters for hurricane protection. Storm panels are corrugated and each piece overlaps the next attaching to the walls around the windows and rear sliding door with pre-drilled bolts.

• Owner is responsible for the maintenance and installation of hurricane shutters

• The Association will not provide or replace shutters that have been lost or damaged

• Maintenance of pre-drilled bolts in the building structure is provided by the Association

• Plywood use as a substitute for storm shutters is prohibited

• Installation of shutters is limited to hurricane season (May through November)

• At owner’s discretion, year-round installation to ground level windows facing perimeter fences or side easements are allowed for security purposes only.
